"I don't know if those artistes who claim they suffered before they had a breakthrough really suffered in real life. But me, the way I suffered is still fresh in my memory. I still remember clearly, sitting at the road side in Ajegunle with my mum while she fried akara. Every rich man who drives their cars & stops by to buy akara from my mum, in my mind, I'd be wishing one of them would just say, young boy take this money. You really need it. But sadly it never happened.


Now that I'm where I am by God's grace, when I see someone in need, it brings back memories of my experience in poverty. And I'd put the person in my shoes. This is why nobody who comes across me in life will never leave without some impact from me. This is why I actually I do the little I can to support people today" - Don Jazzy.

REASON WHY? "OLAMIDE" PROMOTE "ASAKE" MORE OTHERS

  "Back in the years YBNL records is well known for promoting street artiste but all changed after Olamide the ceo sighed lil kesh. After he signed lil kesh he promoted his songs that lil kesh had back to back hit songs but that was not enough for Olamide. Lil kesh was nominated at the Headies award that same year he was signed to the industry but he lost, Lil kesh later on left YBNL after his contract deal with them expired and he tried to create his empire but it seems not working. Fireboy dml. After fireboy dropped his first song with YBNL "jealous" he got recognized and got that fame he was looking for. Olamide supposed his career that he was also nominated at the Headies award for the next rated category the same year he got signed to YBNL, He shameful lost the award to rema. He has has successfully released 3 studio album with the label and his global hit song "Peru" is one of the biggest afrobeats song ever released in history but that's not Olamide
